About the Ministry

The Live by the Word of God Christian ministry was established in 1995 and based in Belfast, Northern Ireland and Ibadan, Nigeria. The ministry through Bishop Ojo has touched many lives by organizing different programmes and projects impacting the less priviledged people all over Nigeria.

The ministry has made numerous humanitarian presentations of relief materials to organisations such as the Moniya-Temidere Ibadan Home for the motherless babies, Gallilee Foundation, Home School for the Handicapped Children, Ibadan School for the Deaf, The Oluyole Cheshire Home, Remand Julive Home of Abandoned Children and in-mates at the Prisons in Ibadan, Osogbo, Abeokuta, Lagos and Akure.

The ministry has also donated and made contributions in form of computers, sewing machines, laptops, clothes, hearing aids accessories, crutches, wheelchairs and medical supplies for hospitals all over Nigeria.

Founder - Israel Ojo

Live by the Word of God Christian Ministries was founded by the late Bishop Israel Ojo. Born in 1955 to devoted christian parents, he attended Oka Primary School after which he moved on to Okeho Grammar School, Oyo state for his secondary education.
Bishop Ojo gave his life to Christ in 1995 at the Winners Chapel, Ibadan and from there, attended Word of Faith Bible Institute. He also attended the Famous Gethsemane Prayer School, Ibadan, the Word of Life Bible School, Uppsala, Sweden and the Faith International School , New Jersey, USA. He received the call to establish Live by the Word of God Christian Ministries while studying at the Word of Life Bible School, Upsalla, Sweden in 1995.

Bishop Ojo has made various contributions to numerous charities and organisations. In November 2000, he built a church sanctuary at Isokan community, Apata, Ibadan. The same sanctuary was renovated by him, rededicated and consecrated in July 2015.




Co founder - Eunice Ojo

Wife and co-founder of Live by the Word of God Christian Ministries, the late Eunice Ojo was devoted and hard working and had a passion for caring for the underpriviledged. A native of Ise-Ekiti, she spent most of her adult life serving God in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Totally devoted to the vision of reaching out to the less priviledged worldwide, Eunice dedicated her life working with the ministry to make an impact in people's life.

Image of Bishop Damilola Ojo

Director - Dr Damilola Ojo MD, BSc

Director of charity, Oluwadamilola is a medical doctor practising in the United Kingdom, Ireland and Sweden. Educated in Belfast, Manchester and Bulgaria, Oluwadamilola is a driving force for the charity and is commited in following his late father's footsteps with a focus on reaching out to the less priviledged.

Director - Michael Ojo BSc, MSc

Son of the founder, Michael is very passionate about providing better structure and opportunities for marginalised children in Nigeria. He has been involved in the charity since his teenage years and this propelled him to complete a degree in Social work. He has vast experience in rehabilitating young and adult offenders, working with children in care and people with mental illness.

He has a BSc in Social Work and a MSc in Human Rights from the Queens University, Belfast, Northern Ireland.
